The Mash Report

About
The Mash Report is a satirical comedy show originally broadcast on the BBC. I developed the show’s full visual identity, including the title sequence, on-screen graphics, and designs for both the studio set and large-format screen content.
The core visual idea was to present an ‘alternate reality’, a world that feels familiar but slightly off-kilter. This subtle dystopian edge mirrors the show’s darkly comic take on the week’s news. The overall look draws from the polished language of contemporary current affairs and news programming, but with a deliberately darker, more mischievous twist.
Alongside the core package, I produced weekly visual content for the show, ranging from irreverent cartoons for Rachel Parris’ segment to animated sketches, tweet walls, and other graphic elements that supported the topical humour of each episode.
